Please contact us and report the following issues or faults concerning electricity, natural gas and water supplies:
Power cuts, gas smells, burst or leaking water pipes, unlocking of meters after moving into a new home, locked meters due to unpaid invoices from Stadtwerke Konstanz, incidents or faults regarding the e-vehicle charging station or the bio gas fuelling station, questions regarding drinking water wells.
We will also accept any reports about faulty street lighting as well as any issues in the areas of telecommunications, buses and ferries.
Note
Stadtwerke Konstanz records all phone conversations concerning the emergency service and preserves these recordings for an appropriate period of time. This is required for safety reasons and for preserving proof. We will comply with all data protection regulations in this process.
ATTENTION: WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU SMELL GAS
If you detect a gas smell in your building, you should follow these guidelines:
1. Stay calm.
2. Avoid open flames and sparks (do not smoke, do not use any mobiles and phones, do not operate any electric light or device switches, and do not pull any plugs of electrical devices out of the electricity socket).
3. Open windows and doors (don’t turn on hoods or extraction fans under any circumstances!)
4. Close the main gas cock.
5. Warn your neighbours and leave the building.
6. Call the Stadtwerke Konstanz emergency service, but only from outside the house, using the following phone number: +49 7531 803-1.
